Mr. Aguilar has practiced law in San Francisco for over 20 years. He is currently in solo practice as an outside general counsel and business consultant. His experience has trained him to address most legal,
regulatory, and business issues that arise for business owners; companies; broker-dealers; placement agents; investment bankers and entrepreneurs. Chris attended St. Mary’s College and Oxford University for undergraduate studies. In the prior 10 years, he was the CEO of a small institutional broker-dealer and the general counsel for a mid-sized SF-based publicly traded broker-dealer / investment bank. Before his time in financial services, he was a trial lawyer representing clients in civil matters for a decade. Chris also worked for the San Francisco City Attorney, the Alameda County District Attorney, and has taught at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, his alma mater.

In 2010, Bagnato left sports writing to become Chief of Communications at the Fiesta Bowl, where he led the communications strategy that restored the bowl’s reputation after a public scandal. In 2014, he co-founded Bagnato Pflipsen Communications, a full-service communications firm.
Currently, he is the Coordinator of Research and Learning Services at the University of Akron. John has a Masters Degree in Library Science from St. John’s University in New York. He is particularly adept at unearthing background information on individuals, companies and institutions. John has participated in a wide range of investigative stories on both the national and international levels. He is accustomed to working quickly under tight deadlines and thinking outside any box.
Heidi Davidson joins G.F. BUNTING+CO to support the growth of the firm’s rapidly expanding New York practice. Heidi has more than 20 years of experience managing communications and marketing programs for global brands.
She has expertise in crisis communications, CEO and Board level transitions and change management. Most recently, Heidi spent 4 years as part of the turn-around team at BlackBerry in the roles of senior vice president of Corporate Marketing and before that senior vice president of Corporate Communications. During this time, Heidi managed the CEO transitions of 3 different leadership teams, and was responsible for BlackBerry’s internal and external programs to rebuild the company’s reputation and corporate viability. Ken Garcia is an award-winning journalist who has covered national politics, the environment, health care, science and the U.S. nuclear weapons program. He served as a news columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle and the San Francisco Examiner for 15 years after working as a reporter and editor for the San Jose Mercury News and the Los Angeles Times.
